Today's lab is the NEURON Tutorial, Part A. If you are doing the tutorial at home you must first download NEURON.
Note: To Paste into the HOC interpreter, use the middle mouse button.
- Homework L.1: Go through the whole tutorial and see how things work. Try typing the commands into the HOC interpreter, but you can also download the code from the tutorial on the link above. Get the simulation running and copy and paste a voltage versus time graph into PowerPoint.
- Homework L.2: Make a change to the code, rerun and copy the voltage versus time plot into PowerPoint.
- Homework L.3 & L.4: Repeat L.2 with different changes, two different times, and send PowerPoint to me.
- Homework L.* (Bonus): Make an interesting change (your call) and repeat. Label as bonus.
